Project Six: Community Servings

One of the things we are most proud of here at Bluebird is our work with Cultural and Non-profit organizations within our community. Community Servings is the perfect example of this.

In 1990 Community Servings was formed, in response to the AIDs crisis, with the goal of providing medically tailored, nutritious, scratch-made meals to chronically and critically ill individuals and their families. In 2021, they are still going strong, having served more than 10 million meals to those in need. In 2019 Community Servings completed the expansion of their space, tripling their production capacity to 1.5 million meals annually.

Bluebird worked closely with the team at Gensler to deliver high quality wayfinding and donor recognition program within a tight budget. Some program highlights include the the use of pot lids in the donor program as well as the use of additive printing on wood for the directional signs.

We could not be more proud of our work with the team at Community Servings. It has been an honor to serve an organization that supports the community in such a tangible way and with such generosity and compassion.

As you consider where to give this holiday season and in the coming year, we hope you will consider a donation to Community Servings. Visit Servings.org for more details.
