Our growing company is seeking an experienced, hands-on, highly motivated and inherently talented Assembler/Installer to join our production team. We are looking for a person with knowledge, commitment, self motivation, eagerness to learn and grow, with an inquisitive mind and a high attention to detail.
The successful Assembler/Installer will be highly capable and productive in both and independent and team-based situations. This is a temporary position that will be permanent after a 90 day trial period.
As an Assembler/Installer you will:
Take projects from components to finished product.
Invent techniques to perform “design miracles.”
Provide pre-project input to designers based on your expertise to complete projects more efficiently.
Coordinate with all departments to complete projects effectively and efficiently.
Assemble acrylic, metal, signComp, wood and other materials.
Verify installation site measurements and conditions.
Work independently to install completed signs and other environmental graphics, including vinyl, wallpaper, dimensional letters, 2D signs, and illuminated signage.
Keep a cool head and solve problems when things don’t go according to plan.
Assembler/Installer Skills and Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have:
Ability to use table saw, drill press, nail gun, other hand tools. Bonus skills include welding and machining.
Ability to read shop drawings.
Effective communication skills for working with customers on job sites.
A clean driver's license and flexibility to travel to visit clients and participate in field meetings, site inspections as well as oversee installations. Experience operating a forklift and/or scissor lift preferred.
Punctuality and attendance are crucial. Must be available for overtime and
weekend work if needed.
Ability to pass a background check, drug test and physical exam.
